OUR VIEW: We sent our General Manager to check out the Inns of Banff and here is her opinion:
"I stayed at the Inns of Banff in March 2007 and was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the accommodation. Considering the selling price, it offers really good value for money. We had a wonderful view of the mountains from our balcony, and although I wouldn't describe the rooms as lavish, they were pleasant enough, clean and a really good size."
"The great thing about Banff is that you can choose from three different ski areas: Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. Personally I fell in love with Sunshine Village which offers a vast ski area with something for all abilities and plenty to keep intermediate and advanced skiers and riders happy. In Banff you need to catch the bus to the nearby ski areas. The good thing about staying at the Inns of Banff is that often in the morning the buses fill up at the Inns of Banff so you don't have to go round the other hotels picking people up. And at the end of the day, the Inns of Banff is the first drop off point."
"The Inns of Banff is approximately 15 minutes walk from town (or you can take the bus) but there are hotels and restaurants all the way along the road if you don't want to travel that far for your evening meal."
"Hiring a car in Banff may appeal to you if you don't fancy taking the bus so if this is of interest to you, please ask our ski advisors for details and prices"
