Chamonix is one hour and thirty minutes from Geneva, the resort is based at the foot of the magnificent Mont Blanc and offers awe-inspiring scenery. The resort is in the Mant Blanc Ski Area and offers 162km of piste to its visitors. There is something for everyone, but intermediates have a huge range of superb runs and for the experts there is fantastic range of off-piste skiing and boarding. The snowboarding in particular is rated as the best for freeriding in Europe and has varied terrain to suit everyone.

Chamonix has a large variety of shops, boutiques bars cafes and restaurants, there are also lots of non skiing activities to keep everyone happy. The ski school is very good and the resort is rated highly for families with a superb crèche.
